susan street.

Susan Street, though relatively short, was once the site of considerable commercial activity. For instance the rear of the large The Walcot Pty Ltd factory that fronted Nelson Street and which is described ran along a lengthy part of the western side of the street. Carpenters, box makers, a livery stables and cabinet makers had premises along the street from the early 20th century, often at the rear of houses which fronted the street. Even a meat processing plant found a home here at or adjacent to No. 29.

However, almost no signs of this heritage remains and so no sites are listed here.
